Crater Lake National Park in Oregon

Yesterday we went to Crater Lake National Park which I have been wanting to go to for a very long time. It was absolutely beautiful. The crater was formed from a volcano errupting over 7700 years ago that filled with snow melt and water to create the clear blue water.  I love that there was still snow on the ground because it made the lake look prettier. We are camping for free at another off season snow park that has toilets and picnic tables. I think from now on we are going to look up snow parks as a good parking option. It is nice to have a little paved area for a patio, a picnic table, a toilet and a good spot to get lots of sun for our solar panels 🌞
